2ND + 3RD GRADE SEEDS, JULY 13-15, 2018

Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp (aka Camp Wapo) is located in Amery, WI.  Each summer, all of our youth 2nd grade and up, are invited to attend camp for a week in July. All of our confirmation students are required to attend at least once and are strongly encouraged to attend the summer after 6th grade.  Holy Cross offers multiple fundraising opportunities throughout the year to help with the cost of camp.

SPARK Sunday School Workshops

Sunday Mornings, 9:30 a.m.

Families attend worship together at our 9:30 a.m. service.  Following the opening song all children—from preschool to fifth grade, members and visitors—will be invited to attend the morning’s Spark Workshop.  Students will learn about God in a way that best fits them while parents are able to engage in the morning’s message.  Students will be brought back into worship at 10:05 a.m. before communion, and finish worship with their families.

It's All About the Bible

Bible discovery and exploration is integrated in every program, every lesson, and every age group. Each story is told for 4 weeks in 4 different ways to increase retention and spark deeper curiosity.

Activities Kids Love

Lively, age-appropriate workshops—such as games, crafts, and science experiments—accommodate all the ways kids learn.  Modeled after VBS, leaders and students engage on a journey through faith.

Fostering Inter-Generational Relationships

Through a wide range of volunteers and intentional programming, we create a space for our community to connect and grow together in God’s Love

Flexible Volunteer Opportunities

Individuals, pairs, or families can volunteer to lead one workshop or ten!  Each session is self-contained and completely planned out!  To sign-up contact Gibson Stanton, or (651)739-0643.

The R.O.C.K.

Wednesdays, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Dinner Available at 5:30 pm for $3.

Fun and fellowship for students in Kindergarten—5th grade.  We start our night in worship by singing vbs songs, camp anthems, and praying together!  We will be invited occasionally to share this music at worship on Sunday mornings.

The second half of the night, students will learn new group games and even play some classics.  This is a time for them to spend in fellowship with their peers.  Volunteers to help supervise are needed for this portion. Games and supplies will be ready.
